TESTIMONIALS

The Visitor Centre in Ronda recommended Alvaro, both he and his wife do bird tours. I texted him and he responded quickly. I went on a hike to the Sierra de la Nieves with Alvaro. Alvaro chose our destination, as I was keen to do lots of hiking near Ronda. We drove out to the park and on our four hour walk we saw Ibis, wild boar, beautiful ancient trees, tiny orchids, salamanders, and many birds (he had a cheat bird call on his phone to attract them). Alvaro walked at my pace and was always watching out for me and to point out the wildlife. It was a magical afternoon in the wild of Andalusia.

But, the best part was when I first met with Alvaro I also wanted to walk the Caminato del Rey. Alvaro helped me buy tickets at an agency, he rang several other guides and found a guide to take me two days later (as he was already booked) and he went totally out of his way to help me - given that I dont speak Spanish. This was well above and beyond his call of duty and was it so appreciated. Because of Alvaro I got to do the Caminato. It is without question that if he had not helped me I would have missed out. I was really blessed to make contact with Alvaro.
