RONDA GUIDED TOUR

We believe the best way to visit Ronda is this Ronda guided tour, that covers all the main tourist attractions:

WALKING ITINERARY

The following shows our most popular and comfortable walking itinerary:

city tour in Ronda

the famous raw of balconies facing the cliff at the Alameda's gardens show the outstanding scenery of the Serranía de Ronda, which was an important crossroads for Romans, Moors and even the Neolithic people. The "toreros" promenade will get us to the Puente Nuevo, Spanish for the "New Bridge" today's icon of Ronda. We'll visit both sides viewpoints to get the best views of this iconic bridge spanning the Ronda's gorge, known as "El Tajo", or canyon, which was carved by the Guadalevín river. From here we'll know about the so-called moorish palace, the so-called Roman bridge and the Sierra de las Nieves. We'll walk along the narrow streets of the white old city of Ronda and pass by the Don Bosco House, the Mondragón palace-museum and the moorish quarter where the Santa María La Mayor church stands today. Orange trees, the endemic Spanish Fir (pinsapo) and the cork will draw our attention here as we continue towards Ronda's famous bullring (plaza de toros), that we'll visit on request.
