SETENIL GUIDED TOUR
Setenil de las Bodegas is arguably the most striking of the white villages near Ronda. We offer you this private walking tour in Setenil starting in Ronda:
WALKING IN SETENIL
Over the years we've designed a comfortable walking itinerary that is mainly flat or downhill, with just one optional small uphill foray:
once in Setenil we'll enjoy the scenic views over the village from one of its best viewpoints. We'll take a stroll along some narrow streets and come across the first cave-dwellings. Walking besides its main church and its impressibe islamic fortress we'll find ourselves on different scenic streets, such as the renown Herreria street. We'll also allow some time to visit unique spots such as the "kiss corner" and many others. Walking along the Trejo river we'll get to the fascinating high street -Cuevas del Sol-, starring lined cave houses, in which we'll enjoy a relaxed coffee and feel like being one more inhabitant of the village.
You can choose where we start:
- in Ronda
- in Setenil
- other places nearby

LARGE GROUPS AND TRAVEL AGENCIES
For groups over 7 pax or special tours, please get in touch by email.
Our Setenil guided tour takes around 3 h and 15 min from start to finish in Ronda. In Setenil, our relaxed guided walk takes around 2 h, plus some 20 min at the end to have a coffee. From Ronda to Setenil driving takes around 25 min.
Extending the tour for 1 or 2 extra hours is something we've sometimes come through, as the area offers a wealth of attractions. Among these, some of our clients have found the nearby Roman ruined town of Acinipo, scenic drives or our delightful local gastronomy quite interesting reasons to request a small tour extension. In this case, please note there would be a supplement of +20 eur/extra hour.
You choose when we start. Start time is an important matter, as Setenil is generally crowded by noon and throughout the weekends. We highly recommend visiting Setenil first thing in the morning -we could even take breakfast there on request-. Alternatively, late afternoon or early evening are great to be the only walkers in the narrow streets!
